Erica has been with the Community Foundation since 2016. Erica received her Bachelor's degree in 2011 from Western Michigan University focusing on International and Comparative Politics. Erica has always had a passion for creating stronger communities. During her undergraduate studies she had an internship at the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center and she also tutored children in English while living in Burgos, Spain. After she received her degree she moved to Denver, Colorado where she worked in the grant department of a Latin American museum. She also spent some time volunteering at a legal services office in Denver. Erica has a profound love of Branch County, where she was born & raised. She happily returned to Coldwater in 2014. She is committed to community philanthropy and is a board member of the Branch County Great Start Collaborative, Commissioner for the Coldwater Housing Commission, and a founding member of the Young Professionals of Branch County. Erica and her husband have two daughters. She enjoys being active outside, drinking lots of coffee, and keeping up with current events.
