 Today's scholarship highlight is Jilliann Payseno!
Jilliann is a 2022 Union City High School graduate and is attending Western Michigan University in the fall to study Art and Business both as majors. She hopes to build her own business in making art after graduating college. She has been drawing ever since she knew how to write, and has grown her skills ever since. She started a business during her senior year designing art for her peers. She has taken Art and Prerequisite classes through Kellogg Community College her senior year. Her volunteer work consists of being a member of the National Honors Society and working at the Southern Michigan Food Bank, Community Unlimited, and multiple school events through that. She's working in the after school BLAST program at Union City's Elementary School and worked at the Middle School summer program in June. She has won multiple Academic Excellence and Honor Roll awards through junior and senior year and graduated with honors. Congratulations, Jilliann! |
