 Today's scholarship recipient highlight is Summer Thorpe!
Summer is a 2022 Union City High School graduate and is attending Michigan State in the fall to major in Psychology. She has always loved listening to people and giving them her best advice. Counseling has always been her focus and hasn’t changed since 8th grade. She has taken three different Psychology classes through Kellogg Community College already, and she hopes to learn more about herself and her ability to help others! Summer participated in multiple sports during her high school career. She was also accepted into the National Honor society both her Junior and Senior year. During her senior year, she decided to get involved and joined the yearbook class and student council. Summer has learned so many skills from her athletic, academic, and community involvement, she will use this knowledge and her drive to become an elite Michigan State Spartan! Congratulations, Summer! |
