BCCF Welcomes Three New Board Members in 2026

The Branch County Community Foundation is excited to welcome three exceptional individuals to our esteemed Board of Directors! These new board members bring a wealth of experience in leadership, education, economics, business, and a shared passion for making a positive impact in our community. Their addition to our team will strengthen our ability to serve and support the diverse needs of our community!
Adrian Dirschell

Adrian Dirschell comes to the BCCF Board with several years of experience in leadership roles and volunteering in the community! Currently, Adrian serves in a leadership role with the Michigan Department of Corrections and also serves as the Chair of the State of Michigan Chaplaincy Advisory Council, working with federally recognized tribes and community faith leaders. Adrian is also a member of the Michigan Chaplains Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Aside from being committed to public service, collaboration, and strengthening the community, Adrian enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, participating in sports, hunting, and vacationing.
Donald Hicks

Donald Hicks brings 34 years of experience in education & economics knowledge to the Community Foundation! Before retiring in 2021, Don was a dedicated teacher in the Bronson School District, where he taught Economics & Government, as well as many other subjects. Don's strong interest in finance led to election on the BlueOx/Ignite Credit Union's Board of Directors in 2011 and has since been elected in 2023 as the Board Chairman. Don has also been involved in the community through theater and his church, serving as the Vice President of the Branch County Community Theater and part of the Vestry of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Coldwater. If Don isn't volunteering his time in the community, he loves traveling and spending time with his wife Leigh Ann and their children!
Nathan Clipfell

Nathan Clipfell joins the BCCF Board as a business owner and volunteer, representing our Colon, Michigan service area! Nathan has extensive experience in managing successful businesses in our area and currently owns the Magic Capital Grille in Colon. For Nathan, a servant-minded approach focusing on people, and excellence are at the core of running a successful business and strengthening relationships in the workforce and community. Not only does Nathan have a passion for business, but he also volunteers his time to enhancing education in the community by serving as a Trustee on the Colon School Board. His experience drives his mission in strengthening education, community partnerships, local opportunities. Nathan's motivation is his wife Allison and their five children - together they hope to make a meaningful and lasting impact in their community!
