The Branch County Community Foundation has announced the acceptance of a unique asset, the mortgage portfolio from the Branch County Habitat for Humanity!
We are grateful that the Branch County Habitat for Humanity thought of the Branch County Community Foundation when reviewing their assets for disbursement. It is important to the Community Foundation to keep community support local, and we are happy to keep no-interest and affordable mortgages in our community, especially as affordable housing barriers continue to rise.
Income from the mortgage portfolio will be used to benefit or assist in promoting affordable housing, duly managed at the sole discretion of the Branch County Community Foundation.
